Over the past few years, research has shown us how sensory overload can affect our students’ ability to focus and learn. Since we are aware of this, it becomes our responsibility to ensure that our classroom is set up in such a way that allows and encourages students to learn.

There are many different ways we can help prevent sensory overload. Here are four different areas that we have to be aware of when it comes to sensory overload:

– Visuals

– Scents

– Noise

– Layout
